Logging in to the admin area of my site

Question
Where do I find the admin address and the password for my WordPress site, and what do I do if I lose the password?
Answer
The admin address is on the overview page of your site in the panel, as a Sign-in address row with a link ending in /wp-admin/. That row appears once your site is active and installed. Showing the password is not possible: the panel generates it when you order, shows it once on the Orders page (button Show password) and stores it nowhere after that. On that screen the admin address is above the username, with a copy button for the password. Copy it there or write it down; afterwards it cannot be requested again. Lost it? Then open the overview page of your site, tab Management, and choose Set a new password. The panel generates a new password, sets it in WordPress and shows it once; the old one stops working from that moment. Our staff cannot read your password, not on your behalf either. If the site is still being set up or shows an error, there is no admin address and no button yet. The Management tab says so itself: once the installation is complete, the admin address and the password appear there. Wait for that sentence, or contact support. Your username is admin.
