Language of the site and the market

Question
In which language is your site, and what happens if I request an address in a language you do not serve there?
Answer
The language of our site follows the country you visit us from, not your browser language. On hostingot.nl — the Dutch market — the site is written and read in Dutch and English. On the addresses for Belgium, Germany and France the site is written and read in the languages of that market; on hostingot.com the default language is Dutch and you choose the language there yourself. If you request an address in a language that does not belong to your market — the German version on hostingot.nl, for example — then that address does not exist. You get the "Not found" page with status 404. That page states that the page does not exist in that language on that market, and offers a link to read the page in the default language of that market. Only that message is in the language you requested; the headers and footer around it speak the language of the market. That is not a fault, and the address is not in the sitemap either.
