Status of my last admin action

Question
What does the status next to "last admin action" (restart, backup, restore) mean?
Answer
An admin action is a job that runs in the background, because a backup or a restart takes a moment. You see four statuses: Queued (ready), Running (being carried out), Succeeded, and Failed. "Failed" means the job stopped; the panel then shows a short error code in your own language, not a technical message. If the job was interrupted because the panel restarted, that is not a failure: it goes back into the queue on its own and the panel says so. Only one admin action runs per site at a time, so a second request waits until the first is done. What a failed action means for your site differs per action; for backup and restore that is in the item about backups and restore.
Applies to
the admin actions in the panel (restart, backup, restore) for every service.
